We live surrounded by a landscape of alerts, notifications, information, and cookies. The smallest task requires a quick check on the internet; we ask, and Google answers. This partnership grows inversely: the more machines gain unlimited powers, the more mankind undermines its nature, leaving aside what nature gave us to survive on Earth: our instinct.

Along with my project fellows, I took care of the set design, creating a light sculpture that interacts with the performer. The sculpture represents technology in opposition to mankind.

The performer and the light sculpture interact and coexist, showcasing the conflict through something that can look either like a dance or a fight.

Prometheus is an audiovisual perfomance about the relationship between mankind and technology, developed as class project for the master in multimedia design at Rufa university and presented at Videocittà 2022.
